Better BetterFi

With your help, in 2022 we met our "reach" goals and extended over $157,000 in consumer credit, effectively keeping more than $383,000 in our clients' pockets.

COMING TO CHATTANOOGA

To build upon our success so far, BetterFi is now expanding into counties around the South Cumberland Plateau including Coffee and Hamilton counties. We have identified initial partner organizations and soon hope to host regular office hours rotating through different partner organizations' offices.

INCREMENTAL IMPROVEMENTS

After over a year of work and preparation with the Credit Builders Alliance, we now are reporting current and retroactive payment information to credit bureaus, finally plugging in one of the most important pieces of the "pathway to bankability" puzzle. 

This paired with work on our policies, procedures, underwriting, and application processes mean we are continuing to improve our foundation in anticipation of growing our impact further.
