Thank you for looking to help get masks of last resort to our community members who need it most. This is early in our process, but please use the buttons below for information on helping us source materials, distribute materials, make masks, and get them where they need to go.
Currently we are looking for thoroughly clean donations of:
Cotton blend t-shirts (NOT 100% cotton)
Pillow cases
Unused vacuum bags
Washable wire (decorative, floral, picture, etc)
Please thoroughly wash and dry all cloth materials (t-shirts and pillow cases) before putting them in the donation bins!
We currently have bins for donating materials at the locations on the right. If you would like to put up bins to collect materials and be included on this page, please click here.
We need local businesses, churches, and organizations to help collect materials for making masks. The only requirement is that you have 3 bins and a box available and a covered, accessible space to leave them. If you are able to wash cloth donations, that is also very helpful.
If you have a location to collect donated materials, please complete the form linked at the button below and we will add you to the website and schedule regular material pickup from you.
This is perhaps the most important part. The easiest way for you to help the mask effort is to tell us what you need to get started. The forms on the buttons below will let you tell us what exactly you need. Please review the mask instructions linked on the right before requesting mask materials.
We have instructions for two different mask models:
The COMPLEX MASKS are more involved to make but should fit better and be more comfortable throughout the day.
The SIMPLE MASK models are easier to make and uses all straight seams.
If you are healthy, have ample hand sanitizer, and have reliable transportation, one of the best ways to help out is by picking up and dropping off materials or picking up and dropping off masks. If you can help in this department, please complete the brief form at the button to the right.
We are still working on acquiring supplies and making masks, but we want to begin to determine the demand for them as well.
We understand that the need for masks will only increase, and so if you are involved with an organization that interacts with the general public, is in a medical field, or is working to serve vulnerable populations, please request masks using the form linked below. Personal requests may also be made here and we will do our best to get everyone who requests a mask one.
Completing the form linked below will get you or your organization “on the list.”
